My Story

A wedding is a brilliant, exciting time – a day to remember and a day to bring family and friends together. However, bringing it all together can be stressful with so much to remember and organise.

During our own engagement, I could not find a complete wedding “to-do” list for getting married in Ireland. I planned the wedding on Excel spreadsheets, different wedding diaries/journals, wedding magazine cut out’s, different wedding countdowns from multiple websites, wedding planning notes from friends, my sisters-in-law etc. Our wedding day was so beautiful and thankfully went off without a hitch! We had a beautiful Christmas wedding and even the snow didn’t dampen our spirits in fact only added to the special day as it was so romantic … and of course, meticulously planned!

On honeymoon as we chatted about our wedding day, I kept coming back to saying how much easier the wedding planning would have been if there was a checklist which listed everything you needed to do to getting married in Ireland. And with that, My Wedding Planner was born!

Setting up this small Irish business was very daunting but it is something that I am so proud of! To see it evolve from just one product into a bigger online wedding shop is something I would never have dreamt of. I am so lucky for this opportunity and I intend to grab it with two hands and create lots of Bridal Gift Boxes for you!
